The Donald L. Hings Award
Since 2025, MSWiM’s award recognizing exceptional contributions to wireless communications, networking, and mobile systems has been presented as the Donald L. Hings Award. Previously known as the Reginald Fessenden Award, it continues a tradition of recognition established in 2014.
The selection committee comprises the Steering Committee Chairs and the current year’s MSWiM General and Technical Program Chairs. The recipient is selected upon the recommendation of the General and Technical Program Chairs, and the award is presented at the conference banquet.
